Nemechek wins pole at Dover:

#87-Joe Nemechek won the pole for Saturday’s MBNA Armed Forces Family 200 at Dover International Speedway (1:00pm/et, FX) with a track-record lap at 156.747mph. It’s Nemechek’s 17th career pole and third of the 2003 season in seven starts. He also won the pole at Daytona and Talladega. #38-Kasey Kahne came closest to catching Nemechek, but he was still almost a mile per hour slower at 155.750. #17-Matt Kenseth was third fastest, #10-Scott Riggs fourth and #19-Casey Mears completed the top five. Series points leader #92-Todd Bodine lines up 14th, 2nd in points, #37-David Green will start 11th. Missing the race was #96-Gus Wasson and #84-Brian Weber.(ThatsRacin.com)
