Harvick names 2004 full time crew chief:

Wally Rogers, who has been crew chief for NASCAR Busch Series driver Randy LaJoie and Evans Motorsports’ #7 Chevrolets since 2001, has been named to that position full time with the NASCAR Truck series team Winston Cup driver Kevin Harvick will field in 2004. Kevin Harvick Inc. officials confirmed the hiring Wednesday. The team expects to hire and announce a driver for the team within the next several weeks. Rogers, 30, has two wins with LaJoie, at Daytona and Memphis, both during the 2001 season. Before joining the Evans team, Rogers worked as the car chief for Andy Petree Racing’s No. 33 Chevrolets.
