UPDATE: The racing world got its first look at the new #11 Menards Chevrolet of Dale Earnhardt, Inc., which Raybestos Rookie of the Year contender Paul Menard will take to the track at the NASCAR Busch Series New England 200 July 24 at New Hampshire International Speedway. With an enthusiastic gathering of race fans and customers looking on, Menard and executives from sponsor Turtle Wax unveiled the bright, yellow racing machine at the Turtle Wax Car Wash and Auto Appearance Center. Menard then promptly got into the showcar, revved its powerful Chevrolet motor, and thrilled the crowd – and the TV cameras – with a few celebratory donuts in the parking lot. “This is really exciting,” said the 23-year-old Menard, moving to the Dale Earnhardt, Inc., team after contesting the first half of the 2004 season in an Andy Petree Racing entry. “This is one of the premiere racing organizations in all of motorsports and the outlook for a strong second half of the season looks very promising. I can’t wait to get to New Hampshire.” The New England 200 is the first of 15 races remaining on the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series schedule.(Menards Racing PR), see an image of the car on my 2004 Buach Series Paint Schemes page.(7-9-2004)
