Co-Pilott Motorsports Marketing will be the primary sponsor aboard Johnny Sauter’s Edge Performance Chevrolet Silverado for the Kroger 200 Richmond NASCAR Truck Series event. Co-Pilott president Mike Held explains, “It’s a way for our company to give something back to the companies that have been such great Co-Pilott clients. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with some world class companies like SONY, Menards, Turtle Wax and Mag-Lite and they’ve been very good to us, so we thought this would be an interesting way to say thanks, perhaps show them victory lane again. In addition, we get a chance to help out a promising young driver who has a bright future in NASCAR racing.” Richmond will be Edge Performance’s second event in the Truck Series this year. Edge is owned by Sauter, Cary Agajanian and Mike Curb, the same trio that visited victory lane last year in the Richmond NASCAR Busch Series event. Last month at the Indianapolis Raceway Park Truck Series event, Sauter led the most laps and appeared headed for victory when a late race caution bunched the field with less than 10 laps remaining.
