Hemphill wait and see with the #4? Hamilin to drive at Pikes Peak? UPDATE

Hearing in two parts, that two-time Northwest Series Champ Kevin Hamlin will hop behind the wheel of the #4 Geico Dodge in Pikes Peak. Because recently, Ryan Hemphill was reportedly dropped from the Biagi Bros. car and released from his developement deal with Ganassi. Current Nextel Cup driver Jeff Green is handling all of the companion events. UPDATE: Crew chief Matt Chambers said the #4 team is “exploring other options” and that Hemphill is on a “wait and see” status with the team. However, other sources say he is no longer on the developement deal with Ganassi and may be considered at Braun for the #32. Hemphill did drive for Braun last year in ARCA.(BGNRacing.com)(7-16-2005)
UPDATE: Biagi Bros. Racing is proud to announce that two-time NASCAR Northwest Series Champion Kevin Hamlin will pilot the #4 Biagi Bros. Dodge on Saturday in the ITT Industries, Systems Division and Goulds Pumps Salute to the Troops 250 presented by Dodge at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Hamlin joins Biagi Bros. Racing in collaboration with Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and its driver development program. The 26-year-old from Snohomish, Wash., won his first late model race at 17 before quickly moving up to the NASCAR Northwest Series, becoming the youngest winner in Series history by winning at 19.
