In advance of the NASCAR Busch Series Sams Town 250 on Oct. 21-22, an unprecedented number of race teams will be testing at Memphis Motorsports Parks -mile oval this month and next: Sept. 26-27 Michael Waltrip Racing (# 99 Kerry Earnhardt), Sept. 27-28 Roush Racing (# 60 Carl Edwards), Oct. 3-4 Glynn Motorsports (# 58 Regan Smith), Oct. 4-5 Rusty Wallace Inc. (# 64 Stephen Wallace), Oct. 4-5 RB1 Motorsports (# 71 Ron Young), Oct. 10-11 Hendrick Motorsports (# 5 Kyle Krisiloff), Oct. 11 Chip Ganassi Racing (# 41 Reed Sorenson), Oct. 11-12 ST Motorsports (# 46 Bobby East; # 47 Jon Wood) The track has also received inquiries about open testing dates from Evernham Motorsports (# 6 – Bill Elliott) and MacDonald Motorsports (# 72 – Kevin Lepage) all as testament to the fact that Memphis and this race play a pivotal role in the stretch run for the Busch Series championship. Fans can watch testing sessions from Grandstand G at no charge. The garage and infield are not open to the public, and no concessions are available. Schedules subject to change daily.
