so what happened at the #1? hearing that Sauter and #1 owner James Finch couldn’t agree on their 2006 plans and Finch wanted an answer which Sauter was not ready to give, so Finch made the decision to put someone else in the car in 2006. UPDATE: Johnny Sauter confirmed that he would pursue opportunities outside the Phoenix Racing organization in 2006. During his year representing Yellow Transportation in the NASCAR Busch Series, Sauter has been an outstanding ambassador of company values.
