There may be a slim chance newly crowned Busch Series champion Kevin Harvick will skip the October 28th race at Memphis. Harvick and the US Coast Guard Chevy team locked up the title this past weekend at Charlotte. “I haven’t even looked at the schedule yet” said Harvick during a break at the Homestead-Miami Speedway test. “I don’t foresee that happening. We didn’t plan to do anything but racing there at the beginning of the year anyway. UPDATE: Randy LaJoie will sub for Harvick this weekend at Memphis for Fridays practice sessions and qualifying on Saturday. Harvick will arrive at the track in time for the race.(RCR PR)(10-23-2006)
