Former Busch Series champion David Green said Monday his Riley/D’Hondt Motorsports team would make its Busch Series debut in next weekend’s Carquest Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Green, sharing driving duties with Bobby Santos during a test this week at the track, hasn’t made a Busch start since last September at California Speedway. He was released by Brewco Motorsports and has been working to get back in the series since. “We’ll start up next week here in Charlotte,” Green said. “My hope is that we’ll run the rest of this year then compete for a championship in 2008.”(SceneDaily.com)(5-15-2007)
