When Chris Showalter [#47-Truck Chief] first entered the Craftsman Truck Series in 1995, he never would have guessed that by 2007, he would be the only individual to have attended all 300 events in one of NASCAR’s toughest divisions. Showalter, or “Showie” as he is fondly referred to by friends and comrades in the garage area, has pretty much seen and heard it all during his 12-year tenure in the NCTS. Showalter has worked with six teams, nine drivers, and has amassed an impressive 13 victories and two NCTS Championships with drivers Mike Bliss in 2002 and Travis Kvapil in 2003.
