A victory for #10-Scott Riggs in the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard would mean a $500,000 donation to Children’s Miracle Network by his sponsor Stanley Tools. The incentive is part of the “Racing for a Miracle” program that has been created by Stanley Tools, together with Ace Hardware, and Children’s Miracle Network. Racing for a Miracle is a multi-dimensional program that benefits sick and injured kids as well as the hospitals that provide their care. After Riggs uses a specially-painted helmet during the Indy race, it will be auctioned and the funds will be added to a $10,000 donation from Stanley Tools to the Ace Hardware Foundation which directly benefits Children’s Miracle Network. The program culminates at the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard that Sunday, as Scott Riggs’ # 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge will carry a new look on their car. The logos of Children’s Miracle Network and Ace Hardware will adorn the TV panel.(Evernham Motorsports/Clear!Blue PR)(7-20-2007)
