Speedweeks 2008 will begin a week earlier than anticipated for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie Brian Scott as the Boise, Idaho native has been tapped to drive the #75 Bob Schacht Motorsports Chevy for the ARCA RE/MAX Series season opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway in Saturday’s ARCA 200 at Daytona. Scott isn’t a complete stranger to restrictor plate racing as the former USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup star made his Talladega Superspeedway debut in the ARCA RE/MAX 250 last October.(Brian Scott PR)(2-5-2008)
