Sad News – Gail “Jerry” Douglas:

BlackJack Racing is sadden by the loss of one its most dedicated team members. After a gallant three year battle with cancer, Gail “Jerry” Douglas succumbed to his fight on Monday, November 16 2009 at his home in Westby, Wisconsin. Douglas otherwise known as the “Governor” around the ARCA Racing Series garage from 2005-2008 was instrumental in supporting the growth of now NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) driver Dexter Bean. We will miss him greatly but we’ll keep racing hoping to make him proud.” A memorial service is set for Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:00am at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church.
