Jeff Gordon’s name is being linked to a project to turn an old Ohio baseball stadium into a race track, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Gordon’s stepfather, who’s also the vice president and general manager of Jeff Gordon Inc., says the NASCAR star would help design the half-mile track at Cooper Stadium in Columbus. John Bickford says the project also could include a school for mechanics school and auto technology center similar to one Gordon is involved with in Charlotte, N.C.
