Kasey Kahne’s #9 Budweiser Ford paint scheme will have a special addition at Richmond – the 2011 World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) will adorn the hood, both quarter panels and the television panel. The World Police & Fire Games will take place in New York City Aug. 26 – Sept. 5, 2011. Spread throughout the five boroughs, the city that never sleeps will be the setting for the multi-sport, Olympic-style event. As many as 20,000 full time firefighters and law enforcement personnel from 70 different countries are expected to compete in 65 sports. The event will respectfully coincide with the 10 year remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001. Kahne and the #9 team will be joined by a group of first responders from New York. While at the track they will partici-pate in a number of activities, including media interviews, the driver/crew chief meeting and pre-race ceremonies (RPM).(9-10-2010)
