From posts on the Shane Hmiel – Road to Recovery Page: Shane is mouthing words. He can’t talk yet due to the trach, but not for much longer. He had another angio Saturday to check on the vein they put coils in and there is a small leak — so there will be another surgery to finish it off, hopefully Monday. That will cause a little set back on heading to the Carolinas. Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte has awesome spinal injury rehab program.(10-30-2010)
