*Kyle Busch won the Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 350K at Texas Motor Speedway. It was Busch’s 23rd series win in his 83rd start. It was his seventh win of 2010 in his 14th start and his 22nd NASCAR win in 2010 across the three national touring series. His victory was the 84th of his career across three series, passing Cale Yarborough for eighth all-time. Busch has won seven of the last 14 NASCAR races he has competed in at Texas. He led Friday’s race for 80 laps, including the final 21.
*This was the seventh series win for Kyle Busch Motorsports, all in 2010 by Busch. It was the team’s first win at Texas, and the No. 18 Truck now has a 72 point lead in owners’ points over the No. 30 Germain Racing truck driven by Todd Bodine.
*Toyota won its fifth consecutive manufacturer’s championship, earned its 79th series win, ninth at Texas and 14th of 2010. Toyota has had four straight season with at least 13 wins.
*Johnny Sauter (finished second) finished second in both races at Texas this season.
*Matt Crafton (third) earned his 14th straight top-10 finish.
*Bodine (fourth) got his 19th top-10 finish this season. He has a 230 point lead in the drivers’ standings. If he averages 27th-place finish in the last two races, he will win the championship no matter what second-place Aric Almirola does.
*Parker Kligerman finished ninth in his series debut.
