Longtime NASCAR Crew Chief, Richie Wauters, was not absorbed in the recent merger between Billy Ballew Motorsports and Vision Air Racing. Wauters, who has been with Ballew Motorsports since January 2004, brought the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team to their first victory in 2004 with Shane Hmiel. Wauters went on to lead the team to 17 more wins with drivers Kyle Busch and Aric Almirola during his tenure. “We were hoping to get something going before Daytona,” Richie Wauters said. “But at this time there isn’t anything, so I need to keep my options open for 2011.”(RWM PR)(1-31-2011)
