#4-Kasey Kahne won’t deny that he’d like to be in a Hendrick Motorsports car before the end of the 2011 season. But, the Red Bull Racing driver says he’d like to do so for testing purposes only. Speaking at a media luncheon in San Francisco on Thursday, Kahne said he had not spoken to team owner Rick Hendrick, for whom he will drive in 2012, since news of Red Bull’s departure as a team owner in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series broke earlier in the week. “I was racing all week, so I didn’t talk to Mr. Hendrick about that,” Kahne said. “I know I’d like to test their car before the season is over. As far as where I’m at, and being at Red Bull, I really enjoy it and want to finish it. I’d like to get in the 5 car and see what it’s like before next season starts; that way I have an idea of how their engines feel and how their cars drive to what I have now.
