Clements will make 100th start: The Nationwide Series race on October 20th at Kansas Speedway will be the 100th start in the NNS for Jeremy Clements, driver of the #51 Jeremy Clements Chevy. Clements started his first race in the NNS at Pikes Peak International Raceway in 2003 for owner Jerry Young. Due to a serious injury while racing Late Models in 2004, Clements did not return to NNS until 2007 and ran part time through 2010. In 2011, Clements and his family set up their own race team, Jeremy Clements Racing, to compete full time in the NNS. Clements, who runs with very little sponsorship funding, is currently in 14th place in the NNS driver point standings.(Clements PR)(10-18-2012)
