#98 Team Owner Mike Curb honored:

Without the support of longtime music mogul Mike Curb, the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame might never have called Kannapolis home. During a brief presentation on Dec. 16 in the citys meeting room at the Kannapolis Train Station, the city of Kannapolis honored Curb for his philanthropy and his contributions to music, motorsports and the growth of the city. The Hall of Fame was incorporated by Doug Croft in Thomasville on May 26, 1994. Its primary goals are to recognize, promote and commemorate the states musical heritage. Curb is the owner of Curb Records . Its the nations leading country music label, with stars that include Tim McGraw, The Bellamy Brothers and Lee Brice, whose recording of ‘I Drive Your Truck” was named the Country Music Associations 2013 Song of the Year. He also has given the city of Kannapolis the Curb Museum for Music and Motorsports , which combines two of his greatest passions.( Charlotte Observer ), Curb is currently part-owner of the #98 Phil Parsons team and has two wins as a team owner for Richard Petty in 1984.
