Rain could be an issue at Pocono:

The weather forecast for Sunday at Pocono Raceway calls for the possibility of rain. According to the National Weather Service Sunday morning:
Sunday – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday Night – Showers and thunderstorms likely before 10pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 10pm and 2am, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2am.
Monday – Scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
According to NASCAR_WXMAN’˜s forecast at SB Nation, ‘Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon thanks to a very unsettled atmosphere over eastern Pennsylvania and a stalled front across the region. The good news ‘” the data for Sunday is drier than it has been all week. The bad news ‘” we could still see showers and storms during the race and depending on how numerous the showers and storms are we could see red flag delays or possible postponements of the race. Odds of racing the Pennsylvania 400 Sunday has increased to 50 to 60 percent. It looks drier with more scattered showers and storms than previous forecasts but showers and storms are still possible. The odds of a complete race is around 40 to 45 percent. Odds of a Monday race is now around 30 to 35 percent. Monday’s weather forecast still has a chance of scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. If the race were to be postponed for Monday an earlier start time would be in NASCAR’s best interest’
