The selections of pit stalls for the Hollywood Casino 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway have been made.
With the field downsized to 40 cars, three pit stalls (22,42,43) have been eliminated, are not in play and don’t count towards driving through more than three pit boxes.
Pole sitter #20-Kenseth chose pit stall 1 [as do most pole sitters].
Outside pole sitter #18-Busch took pit stall 8, the first pit stall with an opening in front of it.
#19-Edwards, who starts 3rd took the 23rd pit stall, with an opening in front of it.
The final pit stall was taken by #24-Elliott, who starts 13th.
