- Film To Be Made About Bobby Allison: Posse Films, LLC, the inspirational feature film production company that controls the rights to several historically significant and uplifting life stories, recently announced the making of a biopic about the larger-than-life NASCAR pioneer, and NASCAR Hall of Fame member, Bobby Allison. Together with the Allison family, the Posse Films team will put the dramatic story of one of the greatest NASCAR legends on the silver screen. Posse Films is in pre-production on the heart-centered motivational story of Bobby Allison. “My family and I are thrilled to have this film produced by Posse Films,” Bobby Allison said in a recent statement. “Mark and his team at Posse Films are like family to us, and I know we can trust them with our story.” The movie project will be based on Bobby Allison’s rise to the top of NASCAR as a three-time Daytona 500 winner, followed by a crash that ended Bobby’s career at 50 years of age. - Testing at Richmond…fans invited: Fans are Invited to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Testing at Richmond International Raceway on Wednesday, April 8th when they take to the track to prepare for the main feature, the Saturday, April 25th Toyota Owners 400. Drivers scheduled to test: #24-Jeff Gordon, #14-Tony Stewart, #2-Brad Keselowski, #15-Clint Bowyer,#42-Kyle Larson, #18-David Ragan, #3-Austin Dillon, #6-Trevor Bayne, #43-Aric Almirola, #13-Casey Mears. - Did Not Finish [DNF] Streak and stats: #4-Kevin Harvick has the longest current streak of finishing races at 35 races, of drivers who have run all the races, followed by #19-Carl Edwards at 28; #16-Greg Biffle and #38-David Gilliland at 24.
TWENTY drivers have ran all the races in 2015 and not had an DNF:
Greg Biffle holds the modern day (1972-present) record at 89 (ended at Daytona in July 2014), then Clint Bowyer at 83, Kevin Harvick at 81, Harvick at 58, Jeff Gordon at 56 and Dale Earnhardt at 53.
The old all-time record for the longest streak of not having an DNF ‘was’ 84 races held by Herman Beam from April 30, 1961 thru March 10, 1963 [Beam didn’t run all the races, but did not have a DNF in 84 straight consecutive races that he ran].

- Priority Points program announced for the Battle at Bristol and future events: Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) has constructed a new platform to ensure their most loyal customers – as determined by longevity and money spent – receive priority. The new Priority Points program will aid in the allocation of seating, parking and camping for the Battle at Bristol and future events. The Battle at Bristol is expected to draw more than 150,000 fans when the iconic NASCAR short track transforms into college football’s largest venue Sept. 10, 2016. Touted as a border battle between the University of Tennessee and rival Virginia Tech, the game is on track to crush the current NCAA single-game attendance record of 115,109, which was set in September 2013 at Michigan Stadium.
Only current BMS season ticket holders are able to place a guaranteed deposit for Battle at Bristol tickets through the Speedway and are encouraged to do so before summer. Beginning July 1, BMS NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Combo ticket holders are able to make nonguaranteed deposits for remaining Battle at Bristol tickets. Any unfulfilled ticket requests secured with a deposit will be refunded. Deposits will be processed in the order of customer’s Priority Points total. The deadline to place a deposit on Battle at Bristol tickets is Sept. 10, 2015.
Customers who purchased BMS tickets in 2014 – ’15 will receive a customized mailer within a few weeks containing an example of their Priority Point’s calculation and detailed brochure. The brochure is also available online by visiting BattleAtBristolTix.com or by calling 844-367-6175.
