- Texas overnight TV ratings: FOX earned a 2.5 overnight for Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.(4-11-2017)

- Gil Martin, RCR part ways: Gil Martin has parted way with Richard Childress Racing. The long-time crew chief turned Xfinity Series manager had been with the Welcome, N.C. race team since 2001, but was released Tuesday. During his tenure as a Cup crew chief, Martin led a variety of drivers – including Kevin Harvick, Robby Gordon and Clint Bowyer.[More](4-13-2017)
- Chase University college student program returns to Talladega:Chase University is returning to Talladega Superspeedway for the track’s NASCAR double header weekend, May 6-7. After a successful, initial venture last fall, NASCAR’s Most Competitive track is again partnering with the driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, Chase Elliott, for the special “Chase U” $24 college student ticket offer. As a part of the program, Elliott is scheduled to visit the “Chase U” college zone, located in the North Park Campground, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.[More](4-13-2017)
