For the first time since late April at Dover Motor Speedway, Derek Kraus will drive the No. 10 Xfinity Series car for Kaulig Racing in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.
During the four Dash 4 Cash races earlier this season, Kraus had a pair of top 10 finishes, placing a best of eighth at Martinsville Speedway. This will be Kraus’ fifth series start, as Cup Series drivers are not allowed to compete in the final eight Xfinity races of 2023.
Since Dover, Kraus competed in the Craftsman Truck Series race at the Milwaukee Mile, finishing eighth for Spire Motorsports. He also practiced and qualified the No. 16 Cup Series car at Richmond Raceway when AJ Allmendinger was competing in the Xfinity Series race at Road America.
We’re excited to have @derek9kraus return to our Xfinity program this weekend at @kansasspeedway! 😎#KansasLottery300 | #TrophyHunting pic.twitter.com/fTGuPlkCuq
