Sheldon Creed not returning to Richard Childress Racing in 2024 UPDATE

UPDATE: Sheldon Creed issued a statement on Twitter saying that it was his choice to leave the team and that his plans for next year will be announced soon.

 

ORIGINAL POST: Richard Childress Racing released a statement on Wednesday regarding its 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series program:

Sheldon Creed will not be returning as driver of the No. 2 Whelen Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024. We will make an announcement regarding the driver of the No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet in the near future.
