Ben Rhodes charges to dramatic overtime victory at Daytona: With a gaggle of trucks wrecking behind him as the field approached the finish line, Ben Rhodes shot past Cory Roper in the tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway to win Friday night’s NextEra Energy 250, the 2021 season-opener for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.(Read More)(2-12-2021)

#99-Ben Rhodes won the season-opening NextEra Energy 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway Friday night, narrowly holding off #3-Jordan Anderson. The win is his first at Daytona and the fourth of his career.
Rhodes led at the final restart which was set up in overtime, losing position temporarily to #04-Cory Roper. On the last lap, Rhodes muscled his way back into the lead as a wreck broke out behind him. Anderson was able to avoid the melee that began beside him, and finish second. Roper finished third.
#40-Ryan Truex, #42-Carson Hocevar, #2-Sheldon Creed, #4-John Hunter Nemechek, #9-Codie Rohrbaugh, #18-Chandler Smith, and #51-Drew Dollar were the remainder of the top-10.
Pole-sitter #13-Johnny Sauter finished 27th after being involved in a lap 96 wreck.
Stage 1 was won by #24-Raphael Lessard. Stage 2 was won by #4-John Hunter Nemechek.
There were 31 lead changes among 12 drivers and 10 cautions for 43 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 107.791.
