#07-Kyle Larson won the Baptist Health 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway Friday night. The win was his first of the season, first at Homestead, and his fourth career Truck Series win.
#34-Layne Riggs finished second and #11-Corey Heim was third.
Heim dominated the race but was plagued by power issues late in the running. He started the race from the pole, won stages one and two, and led a race high 78 of the 134 laps. His truck first slowed just over 20 laps from the finish. He was able to recover and reclaim the lead with 11 to go. With just four laps remaining, Heim’s engine cut one more time and he fell to third as Riggs and Larson drove by. Larson claimed the lead from Riggs the following lap.
Larson led 20 laps on the night and recovered from a spin on lap 90 while battling Riggs for the second position.
#18-Tyler Ankrum, #19-Daniel Hemric, #44-Ross Chastain, #13-Jake Garcia, #38-Chandler Smith, #9-Grant Enfinger, and #45-Kaden Honeycutt were the remainder of the top-10.
There were 13 lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 22 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 117.068mph.

Race Updates:
Lap 134: Larson wins over Riggs, Heim, Ankrum, Hemric, Chastain, Garcia, Smith, Enfinger and Honeycutt
Lap 132: Larson gets by Riggs.
Lap 131: Heim’s engine cuts again and he drops as Riggs and Larson drive by.
Lap 130: 4 to go. Heim leads Riggs and now Larson is 3rd.
Lap 124: 10 laps left to run. Heim leads Riggs by nearly half a second. Chastain, Ankrum, Hemric and Larson continues to try to claw his way back into position after his spin.
Lap 123: Heim goes 3-wide with a lapped truck and gets the lead back.
Lap 122: 12 to go. Heim second over Riggs now. He’s within striking distance of Chastain, if he is able to overcome his power issues.
Lap 120: Heim isn’t done. Gets to Riggs for second, but his truck seems to slow again and he loses ground.
Lap 118: 16 to go. Chastain leads Riggs and Heim. Heim a half-second behind now.
Lap 114: Riggs with the pass on Heim as Heim says the engine cut off. Chastain then passes Riggs.
Lap 104: 30 laps to go and Heim reclaims the lead over Chastain. Riggs, Ankrum, Hemric, Enfinger, Smith follow.
Lap 96: Chastain leads following the restart.
Lap 95: Restart as Heim leads. Honeycutt dropped to the rear for a vehicle interference penalty under the pitstop, relinquishing his second spot.
Lap 92: Heim leads them down pitroad once again. Heim leads Honeycutt on exit. Hemric, Chastain, Enfinger, Riggs, Ankrum
Lap 90: CAUTION Larson spins. He dropped down to the inside of Riggs to pass for second.
Lap 88: Heim reclaims the lead from Chastain.
Lap 72: Chastain has pulled away to nearly a half-second lead. Heim, Larson, Riggs, Friesen.
Lap 71: Chastain just drives right by Heim for the lead. Heim peeks to the inside to try to reclaim the spot.
Lap 70: Riggs on the outside of Larson for second, but Chastain dices between them and flies by for second.
Lap 69: Riggs makes a move and bombs by Hemric. Heim leads with Larson on his bumper and Riggs closing in.
Lap 67: Restart for stage 3. Heim leads. Gets a solid jump as Larson and Hemric go side by side down the backstretch.
Lap 64: Heim leads them down pitroad and maintains the spot on exit. Larson, Friesen, Hemric, Riggs, Honeycutt and Majeski- contact between the two on exit. Left front end damage to Majeski. He revisits pitroad for repairs.
Lap 60: Heim dominated and wins stage 2.
Lap 38: Green flag on stage 2. Heim leads.
Lap 33: Heim leads for pitstops and leads on exit. Larson and Majeski follow. Big problem for Riggs on entry into his stall and he loses many spots.
Lap 30: End of stage 1. Heim with the stage win over Larson and Riggs, Majeski, Chastain, Ankrum.
Lap 28: 2 to go in the stage and Heim gets by Larson for the lead.
Lap 17: Larson leads with Riggs now second, Heim third.
Lap 12: Larson back to the lead as Riggs and Chastain battle for third.
Lap 10: Larson gets the position from Heim but Heim does a cross over and gets the lead back. Chastain now challenging Larson for second.
Lap 9: Larson challenging Heim for the top spot.

Goodyear Tire Notes: Xfinity, Truck teams return to Homestead on established tire set-up: Being on 15-inch bead diameter tires, NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series teams will run a different tire set-up than those in the Cup Series at Homestead this weekend . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires teams in both of these series have run at Homestead since the beginning of 2022 .
