#34-Layne Riggs won the MillerTech Battery 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway on Friday. The win was his first of the season, first at Pocono, and the third of his career.
#15-Tanner Gray tied his career best in second, 3.640-seconds behind Riggs, who started from the pole.
Riggs led 25 laps throughout the 80-lap race and won the opening stage. He took the lead for the final time following a restart on lap 61. #11-Corey Heim led at the time of caution, but coming to the restart, he was forced to surrender the lead and pit due to a flat tire. He had dominated the race up to that point, leading a race high 48 laps and winning stage two.
Once the flag dropped, Riggs, and #7-Carson Hocevar led the field, but Hocevar was later black flagged after the restart was reviewed. Riggs inherited the lead unchallenged and held it for the duration.
Though his race ended in disappointment with a 23rd place finish, Heim moved into 10th in series history for most laps led. He also set a record for winning the most stages (12) in a season.
#45-Kaden Honeycutt, #1-Brandon Jones, #19-Daniel Hemric, #81-Connor Mosack, #38-Chandler Smith, #52-Stewart Friesen, #98-Ty Majeski, and #71-Rajah Caruth were the remainder of the top-10.
There were seven lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 24 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 116.167mph.

Race Updates:
Lap 80: Riggs with the win. First of the season. Gray, Honeycutt, Jones, Hemric, Mosack, Smith, Friesen, Majeski, Caruth.
Lap 70: Riggs leads with a 2.5-second lead over Gray, Honeycutt, Jones and Hemric. Heim is stuck in 25th after his tire issue. Hocevar 17th after his penalty.10 to go.
Lap 64: Hocevar now pits. Heim is 26th, last car on led lap after his service for the flat.
Lap 63: Black flag for Hocevar as he hasn’t pit yet. Riggs, Gray, Honeycutt, Jones, Hemric
Lap 62: Restart under review. Hocevar issued a pass through. Riggs will lead.
Lap 61: Coming to the restart, leader Heim has to pit for a flat tire. Riggs , Hocevar now lead as Heim tries to limp around to pitroad as the green flag waves.

Lap 46: Caruth leads the restart. Heim promptly takes the position. Majeski follows for second.

Lap 26: Friesen leads them to green. Heim takes advantage and reclaims the lead
