#11-Corey Heim won the SpeedyCash.com 250 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Friday night despite late caution flags, a run into overtime, and intense challenges by his rivals. The win was his third of the season, first at Texas, and the 14th of his career.
#19-Daniel Hemric was second, followed by #71-Rajah Caruth, pole-sitter, #18-Tyler Ankrum, #15-Tanner Gray, #99-Ben Rhodes, #88-Matt Crafton, #44-Bayley Currey, #26-Dawson Sutton, and #98-Ty Majeski in the top-10.
Heim had the strongest truck of the night, leading 96 laps and winning stage two. Three caution flags fell within the final 11 laps of the race. The final two restarts narrowly saw Heim maintain the lead as #71-Caruth and #99-Rhodes feverishly challenged for the top spot. On the last lap, #19-Hemric made a run at it but ran out of time.
#9-Grant Enfinger led 19 laps and won the opening stage, but he was involved in a late race wreck on lap 156 with #52-Stewart Friesen. The impact from Friesen’s machine caused track workers to repair a portion of the turn 4 wall. The race was red flagged for just under five minutes.
There were 15 lead changes among nine drivers and 11 cautions for 57 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 102.008mph.

Lap 153: Restart. 14 to go. Heim leads. He pulls ahead entering 1-2. Friesen and Enfinger side by side at the line.
Lap 149: Heim leads them down pitroad. Enfinger, Friesen, Rhodes, Crafton follow…. Crafton hit with a pitroad penalty for improper fueling.
Lap 147: CAUTION. Heim’s 22-second lead erased as the yellow waves for Muniz. 20 to go.
Lap 144: Heim leads Smith by 16.058-seconds. Friesen, Rhodes and Enfinger follow in the top-5. Hocevar had dropped down pitroad for his lingering battery issues, and on exit, Breidinger was en route to turn into the garage and the two got togethr on pitroad.
Lap 136: Heim back to the lead as Garcia pits.
Lap 134: Stops continue to cycle through. Garcia leads over Heim.
Lap 129: Friesen pits. Caruth leads Garcia as stops continue.
Lap 128: Heim now pits for his stop. Friesen now leads.
Lap 121: Hocevar now abandons 2nd to pit. Heim leads Friesen now by 11.32-seconds.
Lap 118: 50 to go. Heim leads Hocevar by 5.33-seconds. Majeski has to drop to pitroad for a stop since he had stayed out on the last one. His stop will begin the cycle of green flag stops.
Lap 97: Caruth saves it after getting sideways.
Lap 96: Heim to the lead. Majeski drops to second as Hocevar trails.
Lap 94: Heim now on the backend of Majeski’s truck. Hocevar just a few truck lengths back.
Lap 93: Heim flies by Hocevar for second with his fresher tires.
Lap 87: Restart- Majeski now leads Hocevar, as they stayed out.
Lap 82: Pitstops. Heim leads them down. He prevails on exit over Smith, but 5 trucks stayed out. He’ll line up 6th.
Lap 80: Heim wins stage 2 over Smith and Enfinger.
Lap 76: Heim drives by Enfinger for the lead on the inside. One lap later, Enfinger falls to third behind Smith.
Lap 74: No luck for Smith. The two go back and forth but Heim prevails with 6 to go in the stage as Enfinger leads
Lap 72: Enfinger drives by with the lead following the restart. As they cross the line, Heim now trying to hold off Chandler Smith for second.
Lap 71: Back to green. Heim leads Enfinger, Hmric, Smith , Crafton and Friesen.

Lap 26: Back to green for stage 1. Ankrum leads on the inside with Riggs pulling high challenging for the lead. He pulls ahead at the line.
Lap 22: Under yellow, Chandler Smith, Grant Enfinger, Ty Majeski, Jack Wood among those to pitroad. Ankrum stays out and keeps the lead.
Lap 20: Competition caution.
Lap 12: A dozen laps in. Competition caution around at or near lap 20 if one doesn’t fall beforehand. Ankrum still leads Riggs.
Lap 5: Ankrum now leads Layne Riggs by 2 seconds as he gets by Garcia, who is fighting a loose truck. Garcia, Caruth, Ruggiero follow in the top-5.
