Justin Allgaier scores overtime victory in wild Xfinity race at Michigan: Justin Allgaier used pit strategy and a fast No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet to take the lead of Saturday’s Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway with 16 laps of regulation remaining and then held off the field in two laps of overtime – before a caution came out ending the race for an accident mid-field.(Read more)

Despite starting in the middle of the field, #7-Justin Allgaier led a race-high 37 laps and won the Cabo Wabo 250 Xfinity Series race at Michigan International Speedway. This his first career win at Michigan, and the 25th of his career, putting him in sole possession of 10th on the all-time wins list.
#18-Sheldon Creed finished second for the 11th time in his career, and now holds the record for most runner-up finishes before getting a victory. #20-John Hunter Nemechek finished third, with #5-Anthony Alfredo and #8-Sammy Smith rounding out the top five.
#30-Noah Gragson, #38-Matt DiBenedetto, #19-Taylor Gray, #45-Caesar Bacarella and #16-AJ Allmendinger completed the top 10.
#7-Allgaier scored his series-high 12th stage victory of the season in Stage 1. #20-Nemechek earned a playoff point for the No. 20 team in Stage 2.
There were 10 lead changes among seven drivers and nine cautions for 39 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 108.743 mph.

Lap 127: #48-Kligerman got into the rear of #45-Bacarella, who came down the track into #88-Kvapil. #81-Smith and #28-Sieg spin with Sieg flipping on the backstretch.
