- Mike Calinoff, Publisher of the Motorsports Journal (www.motorsportsjournal.com) and President of RaceMedia Internet Development Ventures LLC, announced the debut of the new motorsports-related web site www.racecomm.com. The Super-Site Direct from Charlotte, NC’ will be up and running on the World Wide Web beginning Friday, May 15th in conjunction with the kick-off Race Week in Charlotte. Racecomm is a joint-venture project with Lake County Online of Mentor, Ohio — the producers of www.liveracing.com and one of the nations leading web site designers. “We’re excited about bringing our project to the next level.” said Calinoff who writes a weekly commentary at www.speedworld.net. “The growth of the Motorsports Journal and MSJ Online have exceeded our expectations and we’re counting on similar results with Racecomm.” The Racecomm site will feature more than 25 different departments and categories making the most interactive addresses on the web. “It is a natural alliance,” said Curt Eckertson, President of LCOL, “Mike’s plans our and directions fit well together — this is an exciting venture for all of us.”(5-9-98)
