#24-William Byron won the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The win is his 3rd win of the year, 2nd at Martinsville and 13th career win.
Pole winner #5-Kyle Larson finished 2nd followed by #9-Chase Elliott, #23-Bubba Wallace, #12-Ryan Blaney, #22-Joey Logano, #45-Tyler Reddick, #48-Alex Bowman, #41-Ryan Preece, and #14-Chase Briscoe.
Byron got the lead for the final time by pitting first during the final green flag pit stops, and then taking the lead when they cycled through. He held the lead through a late caution that forced an overtime finish.
Stage 1 was won by #5-Kyle Larson. Stage 2 was won by #11-Denny Hamlin.
