#24-Travis Kvapil won the pole for the American Racing Wheels 200 at California Speedway with a track record of 178.669mph, beating out former teammate, #5-Mike Skinner by almost a mile-per-hour. #5-Skinner ran a lap of 177.708 and will start 2nd, followed by #17-David

Hmiel, Ballew are winners in Las Vegas ... Two winless streaks one short, the other long were snapped when Shane Hmiel (No. 15 Whitaker Farms Chevrolet) won the Las Vegas 350 on Sept. 25. Hmiel won in his 19th appearance to become the seasons 10th different winner.
