With a thunderstorm rolling through the Chicagoland Speedway area on Friday afternoon, NASCAR elected to postpone Friday’s Cuervo 300 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series practice session to Saturday in place of qualifying. The starting lineup will be set per the metric, with #1-Connor Zilisch and #19-Brent Crews sharing the front row.
#9-Carson Kvapil, #17-Corey Day and #99-Parker Retzlaff fill the rest of the top five. #2-Jesse Love, #96-Anthony Alfredo, #00-Sheldon Creed, #41-Sam Mayer and #8-Sammy Smith complete the top 10.
