Ben Rhodes wins first two races of NASCAR Camping World Truck season: Ben Rhodes wrapped up a perfect pair of race outings at Daytona International Speedway answering his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory on the oval last week with a dramatic win Friday night on the infield road course. It took three overtime starts to secure the victory over 2020 series champion Sheldon Creed, but Rhodes’ work in the No. 99 ThorSport Racing Toyota marked only the third time in series history a driver has opened the season with back-to-back wins. #99-Ben Rhodes started from the pole and won the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Daytona International Speedway’s road course Friday night in triple overtime. With back-to-back wins to start the season, Rhodes now has five career wins. He is only the third driver in series history to score wins in the first two races. He also tallied Toyota its 200th series win.
#2-Sheldon Creed finished second, followed by #4-John Hunter Nemechek, #38-Todd Gilliland, #17-Riley Herbst, #88-Matt Crafton, #19-Derek Kraus, #02-Kaz Grala, #56-Timmy Hill, and #98-Christian Eckes.
#4-Nemechek won Stage 1. Stage 2 was won by #24-Raphael Lessard.
There were nine lead changes among six drivers and 10 cautions for 20 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 67.044mph.

Ben Rhodes won the BrakeBest Brake Pads 159 at Daytona Presented by O’Reilly, his fifth victory in 121 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
This is his second victory and second top-10 finish in 2021.
This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in two races at the DAYTONA Road Course.
Sheldon Creed (second) posted his second top-10 finish in two races at the DAYTONA Road Course. It is his second top-10 finish in 2021.
John Hunter Nemechek (third) posted his first top-10 finish in his series debut at the DAYTONA Road Course.
Chandler Smith (12th) was the highest finishing rookie.
Ben Rhodes (Daytona, Daytona RC) becomes the third driver in series history to win the first two races of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season; joining Johnny Sauter (2013: Daytona,  Martinsville) and Mark Martin (2006: Daytona, Auto Club)
This is Toyota’s 200th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory.
