Corey Heim steals an overtime win at Darlington Raceway: Same guy. Different truck. Same result. #5-Corey Heim may not be full-time this season, but the defending champion continued his winning ways on Friday night, taking the checkered flag in the Buckle Up South Carolina 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway. Heim took the lead from #45-Ross Chastain unchallenged following an overtime restart that saw him climb from ninth to the race win. The win is his first of the 2026 season, second at Darlington, and the 24th win of his career.
#45-Chastain was second, followed by #91-Christian Eckes, #11-Kaden Honeycutt, #7-Connor Mosack, #62-Christopher Bell, #9-Grant Enfinger, #17-Gio Ruggiero, #19-Daniel Hemric, and #1-William Sawalich.
Stage 1 was won by #91-Eckes.
Stage 2 was won by pole-sitter #11-Honeycutt. Honeycutt earned his first career pole and led the most laps of his career with 59 out front before finishing fourth.
With the win, Heim took home an additional $50,000 for winning the first race of the Triple Truck Challenge.
There were 14 lead changes among eight drivers and nine caution flags for 47 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 97.005mph.

Race Updates:
Heim with the pass over Chastain as he charges in the low lane and drives by unchallenged. He took the final restart from 9th.
Overtime attempt #2: Chastain pulls ahead as they battle. As they take the white, Heim shakes out in second.
Choose pick: Chastain inside, Honeycutt outside. Eckes will line up behind Chastain and Bell takes the outside behind Honeycutt.
CAUTION: Ankrum has issues/flat tire, bounces off of the wall and collects Friesen, LaJoie, Garcia.
Green flag: Chastain leads the field on the inside lane and gets a good jump with a push from Eckes.
Honeycutt chooses the outside lane. Chastain to the inside. Eckes lines up row 2 behind Chastain with Ankrum in the high lane behind Honeycutt.
Race will be going into overtime.
Lap 144: CAUTION Hocevar gets into the wall and spins; cut right front. Chastain now leads Honeycutt, Eckes, Heim and Ankrum in the top-5.
Lap 143: 4 to go but sparks are flying off of the race leader Hocevar’s truck. He’s slowed a but and Chastain closes in drastically.
Lap 135: 12 to go. Honeycutt gets by Eckes for third. Hocevar leads CHastain by a half second.
Lap 128: Restart – quickly gets dicey. Jones stayed out and leads the outside. Honeycutt leads from the outside, but Hocevar pulls away on the inside. Jones drops back quickly from the middle lane. He takes it to the wall to maintain the lead over Chastain as they settle into single file.
Lap 123: Pitstops. Honeycutt fastest out over Hocevar, Chastain
Lap 121: CAUTION Riggs cuts off Majeski and Perez gets collected. This happened behind Heim and Hocevar who were battling for third.
Lap 115: Chastain holds the lead.
Lap 110: Restart and Honeycutt and Chastain quickly battle back and forth for the lead.
Lap 108: Pitstops with 40 to go. Honeycutt, Chastain maintain the lead on exit.
Lap 106: CAUTION C Jones gets loose and into the Sutton truck. Honeycutt maintains the lead over Chastain, Heim, Riggs and Majeski.
Lap 99: Restart for Honeycutt.
Lap 94: Pitstops. Honeycutt fastest out over Chastain, Heim, Ankrum, Majeski, Eckes, Riggs.
Lap 90: Stage 2 complete. Honeycutt with the win, his fourth stage win.

Goodyear Tire Notes:The tire setup chosen for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this weekend was also used at Darlington last year when the two series raced there in April and August, respectively. Both series will also use inner liners at Darlington, as is customary on tracks 1 mile and longer.
