#11-Denny Hamlin won the Great American Getaway 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway. The win is his fourth win of the year (and third consecutive), eighth at Pocono and 64th career win.
#45-Tyler Reddick finished 2nd followed by #24-William Byron, #42-John Hunter Nemechek, #5-Kyle Larson, #43-Erik Jones, #17-Chris Buescher, #1-Ross Chastain, #54-Ty Gibbs, and #12-Ryan Blaney.
Hamlin started from the pole and led 28 laps on the day. He took the lead for the final time with four laps remaining after #20-Christopher Bell tried to stretch the race on fuel but was unsuccessful. It is the first time in his career that Hamlin has won three consecutive races.
Stage 1 was won by #11-Denny Hamlin. Stage 2 was won by #34-Todd Gilliland (his first stage win).
The fastest lap bonus a earned by #17-Chris Buescher.
There were 17 lead changes among 11 drivers and 5 cautions for 23 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 135.9mph.
